Entrepreneurial Mindset; Are You Ready to Change?

From my very first MLM business, it was always my intention to get rich and never work for anyone else again. After six months, I was selling product and recruiting distributors, but I was out of money.I spent all my savings on advertising and the money coming in wasn't enough to make payments on my credit card. The hunger to succeed was there alright, but all I heard from my upline was to change my mindset. Things just didn't click I still had that "paycheck" mentality. I couldn't quite get my head around that "millionaire mind" way of thinking. Then, after reading T. Harv Eker's book,"Secrets of the Millionaire Mind" for the tenth time, my want evolved into commitment. I began to see that when it came to money and wealth, it was my deep rooted beliefs holding me back. I must change my thinking in order to change my circumstances.

So, I ask you,"What do you accept as true"? Just what do you believe when it comes to money and wealth? Whatever level of income you are aspirant to right now, do you believe deep down that you deserve to make that much money? The truth is, you will resolve for whatever you think you're worth.

Think about this for a minute. What we believe is determined by everything we see, hear and experience. This is also true in the area of money and finances. Your experiences in this arena determine the decisions you make with your finances. A good way to determine what you think about money is to look at where you are financially. If you're happy, great. But if you are anything like me, you might find yourself quite disgusted. So, how can you change what you think?

The first thing to comprehend is what you believe is not who you are. You have the ability to choose what you believe It's only what has been an influence to you. You have the ability to keep the good and throw out the bad. You can change what you believe. Knowing this is the first step to changing.

There are four keys to change:

1. AWARENESS- Being aware of your beliefs and how they influence your decisions allows you to see this interaction in your life and take the action to change.

2. UNDERSTANDING- Once you become aware of how your beliefs limit the decisions you can make, you can begin replacing these thoughts with thoughts to help you reach your goals.

3. DISASSOCIATION- Once identified, remove these thought patterns from your decision making process. At first, this won't be an easy task. Begin to associate with those who are earning the income you want to earn. Learn how they think. Be careful not to confide in nay sayers. Just look at what it has gotten them.

4. RECONDITION- Once identified, get rid of it! Determine that YOU will choose who and what you are, not someone else. Their thoughts don't count any more if they're holding you back from success. overhaul your thinking by confessing your new thoughts as many times as necessary to develope new thought patterns.

To be rich, you have to learn to be rich. Begin hanging around rich people and learn how they think. Read about successful entrepreneurs and learn how they did it. Remember this, what you see in yourself is what you've learned. There's nothing wrong with learning new things, especially if it will teach you how to be successful in life.
One way to define an entrepreneur is someone who makes a profit by helping others. If you are offended by this statement, then it's time to make some changes. There is nothing wrong with profit, and surely there's nothing wrong with helping others. It's been said many times in many ways, but I'll say it like this, the key to success in anything you do is to serve as many people as you can . The more people you serve, the more likely you are to having everything you want in life.

Now that you are determined to be a successful entrepreneur and are willing to do whatever it takes to change yourself first, I'll leave you with this final thought. Whatever you focus on will expand, and you will succeed if you don't quit.
